As the season draws to a close, there are a number of voluntary positions that are becoming vacant. The Club would like to hear from any player, parent or supporter who would like to get involved and help the Club build on this year's successes.

Most of these roles can be split too - it doesn't need to be just one person. Below is a list of volunteer roles that we are seeking to fill for the following season.

Volunteer Roles

Ladies 2s Coach & Ladies 3s Coach (2 roles)
Join the coaching team to ensure successful development of our players - whether playing in the 2s or 3s - with a focus on development of fitness, skills and competitive tactics

Social Media - a role that can be split but with the emphasis on maintaining a strong social media presence about the Club - for the teams, youth development, events etc

Website Co-ordinator - to maintain & improve the current Pitchero website to ensure that it is up-to-date with all relevant information for players, parents & supporters

Team Managers (Ladies 1s - supporting the coaches, squads & players. Liaising with opposition & umpires for all the games.

Youth Development Co-ordinator - to lead, organise and develop the GMHC Hockey Camps

We would hope that these roles can be filled as soon as possible with the opportunity for handovers with all the current volunteers. For the Coaching Roles, we will also be seeking outside interest as well from any coaches looking to develop their skills so please share with anybody who might be interested.
