Grove Menzieshill Hockey Club was formed in 2010 following the merger of mens Menzieshill
Community Centre HC and Grove Ladies HC.

We currently run 3 x Women’s, 3 x Men’s and multiple Youth age group teams. We maintain a Child and Vulnerable Adult Welfare Policy and actively support local schools to provide hockey coaching and activities. Our Ladies first team competes in Scottish National League.

The role will support the Performance Manager in all aspects of the organisation working to deliver the Hockey Club Charity’s objectives. This is an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to practice and further develop their coaching skills and to be a key part of an ambitious hockey club.

Home matches are played at Dawson Park or DISC in Dundee. Our club website can be found at

Who we are looking for:
• An experienced and talented coach with an established record and coaching qualifications to be the Ladies first team coach.
• Deliver high level coaching sessions to team/squad on 2 training nights, currently.
Tuesdays (6.30 - 8.30pm) and Thursdays (7.30 - 9.30pm)
• Coach the Ladies 1s team at matches, attending friendly and league games both home and away
• The coach needs to be able to work with a dynamic leadership group and achieve the clubs hockey development plan.
• Support of the club coaching and youth programme and development of the junior players working with the clubs other team coaches is an important part of the role.

The coach will report to the Performance Manager.
This is an exciting position for an experienced coach who is enthusiastic, motivated and can
guide the team and squad to perform at the highest level.
Remuneration package will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
