Mens 2s vs Harris 2s

There was a certain symmetry to today's match. 2 goals in each quarter from our young team dispatched a patchy Harris performance.

Our organisation in defence starved the opponents of time on the ball and any options to pass. Exit lines were cut off and the resulting spray of arials from their defence was mopped up by our midfield and the ball recycled quickly.

Findlay Duncan put in a strong performance at centre back and his distribution led to wave upon wave of attacks.

Goals were inevitable and if anything we missed more than we should have, particularly from penalty corners. That is being picky, however.

Scorers were: Murdo Kiddie 2, Murray G 2, Alistair Clark 1 ( a fine reverse strike), Archie Mac, John Donald and Chris Wilson. Congratulations to them.

We were strong in possession today. Rarely did we lose a ball in a tackle, Jamie Donald showed particular tenacity in not losing the ball.

A fleeting cameo from Bonnar C. in attack unfortunately failed to trouble the score sheet.

Our flow is improving game on game leading us to a strong finish to the season. Well played boys.
