Ladies 2's last game of the 1st half of the season at Dawson Park against Stirling University 2's - report from Lillian Chapman

Grove ladies got off to a great start scoring in the 1st few minutes of play with Hannah Adamson scoring. 2nd quarter the girls had a couple of chances but the Stirling keeper managed to keep it from going into the goal . Half time team talk with Captain Ali McCulloch and Gav Cruickshank stand in coach for today gave the girls instructions on how they should play the 2nd half of the game and with Grove making full use of their squad of 14 they were on the attack once again. It wasn't till 11 minutes into the 3rd quarter that Niamh Cumming found the back of the net to give the team a bit of breathing space. Gav Cruickshank gave his last quarter team talk telling the girls to make the most of the last 17 mins of play and to continue their attacking play. There were no more goals but Grove Ladies 2's came away with a 2 nil win. Well played ladies 2's undefeated in their last 3 matches. 2 league wins and a draw in the cup - something to build on when the outdoor season continues in the new year.
